City Council commemorate Heysel tragedy, rs still to decide what to do

I think the club has done a little more of late to be fair to them. The supporters by and large dont want to know and - worse still - they use Everton supporters' words on the subject as a shield to hide their own shame behind. Classic ducking and diving to avoid the truth. There it is, unfortunately

Do they? Well to me it seems they make a big deal of Hillsbrough every year, probably more than they should do. But you hear barely a squeak about Heysel in comparison, and what about other tragedies like what happened in Bradford? Or at the Glasgow Derby match those years back.

I agree with you, it is shocking that other tragedies are downgraded...or that's the way it seems anyway. As for LFC: I think they went all out on a charm offensive when they faced Juventus back in 2005 and have had to keep that up since. At boardroom level, apparently, they are close.

Ah isn't that nice. I bet the 39's family are happy now.

Fact is they can't do anything, other than shut up about it, and slow down on the Hillsbrough stuff.
