Well I was thinking this too. Imagine your at the stadium, you don't get replays, so you make a decision based on a few factors:

1. Clattenburg is a clown
2. Chamaq is known as a diver
3. Your bitter

That will result in you thinking you've been screwed over and hence the booing. I expect when they see the replay they will not have any other thought other than he had to go.

And then they'll remember they're city fans, and distort the facts so they think they have suffered a great injustice.
 
Does anyone else find it funny that Fabianski is in goal, yet all the multi-million attacking players can't get a goal? Surely you jusy kick the ball right at him :/
