City will definatly finish ahead of us this season, I almost feel jealous looking at there squad and the way the are playing. There team pisses all over ours to be honest and there football is miles better. If they can blend this all together there going placed.

Top 8 is going to be very hard for us.

Top 8 will be hard, but i dont think Man City are better than us. When we have a fit squad, our team is great, Man City have brought in a few great players, Robinho the main one, the rest dont dramatically improve the team. The only reason Man City are playing so well today is because of confidence. All the hype of Robinho, the full record capacity crowd in the stadium, the chants, atmosphere etc...all add to the confidence. Give it a couple of weeks, and City will be back to their usual ways, fighting for 8th or 9th.

When do we ever actually have a fit squad though, very very rarely. One or two games a season. And whilst out first eleven is decent it's quite clear that City's is better, they player better football aswell.

They have lots of different options and they can vary how they play, we can't do that. I can't see us finishing above them, we might get lucky is we got knocked out by Standard Liege.

Agreed. Dont rate Jo so highly people, he isnt as good as al the hype.

I think it will be next season at the earliest for City to push for top 4 and think we will finish above them this season

It's not all about starting elevens anyway, they have far more strength in depth than us and far more quality in depth.

We have a good starting line up, we have a [Poor language removed] squad. If Osman, Pienaar or Arteta get injured we have no one who can come in and replace there creativity and quality in midfield.

The only good thing we've done is get Saha in, now we have someone who can help and backup Cahill.

If City lose players they've stil got player who can come in, Johnson, Elano and Petrov for example, non of the players mentioned started today.

Red Card for Terry, but have to say the refereee has been a joke tonight, made alot of stupid decisions, mostly in favour of Chelsea tbh, and that most certainly wasnt a red. He wasnt the last man, so it shouldve definatly been yellow.

Even if they appeal - the FA are to scared to accept the appeal.

Well if Terry was actually worth the 150K/week he gets, Jo wouldn't have blown by him like he was standing still. He gotten away with not getting a red card so many times that I don't give him any sympathy.

I know he didn't help City much today but I really think Stephen Ireland is a very good player even though I can't find one thing he does particularly well. City always seems to play alot better when he's in the squad.

Personally i cant see city finishing ahead of us, its all well and good playing now but ill wait till Jan when there palying is sub zero contiditions. Thats the difference!

They'll need a season or so to see results. I'm guessing they'll get into the UEFA Cup but won't challange for the C-League.
