CL final: An all PL affair?

...and if we get four PL teams in the semi's, they'll find a way to screw Everton over somehow out of a European slot. Because that's how UEFA rolls.

I think if that happens, the football gods that be should disallow the "big 4" entry into next year's CL. In order to reduce the chance of boredom, the PL should send spots 5-8 for next year.

They b---itch how much the "big 4" is ruining the C-League, then they bend over backwards to do anything to assure they stay in the tourney (see red s---hite 04-05).

I hope it's not an all premier league affair, if it is you can bet your ass that Platini would make sure it doesn't happen again. The introduction of the homegrown rule or the 6+5 rule is coming if we continue to dominate in europe because UEFA hates the premiership.

My picks for the final are United vs Liverpool but I'm hoping for a United vs Bayern.

Forget Liverpool, they've peaked in this tournament too early. They'll go out next round. Real Madrid are seriously toothless. Anyone who doesn't think Everton could get a result against them needs their head feeling. Their stock was rock bottom before that tie, regardless of humping some no mark Iberian outfit 7-1.

It's all about dosing your effort in these tournaments. Barca and United moving along nicely just waiting to change gears. Out of the 'also rans' I wouldn't put it past Arsenal doing a lot of damage in this season's CL and reaching the final. They have their form back now and players coming back in who should improve them even further.

so, do real , juve, sporting etc now go into uefa ? or is that the beaten 1/4 finalists. my concern is i go on hol the day of the final and dont want to encounter lots of r/s at jla.

I hope your not going to Oslo on holiday their airport would be a nightmare on Champions League final night.

Bayern could be dark horses as they looked outstanding against Sporting. To win any CL knockout tie 12-1 on aggregate says you're in very good form.

They've been awful in the Bundesliga though.

So when we win the FA cup then we will have gone through Man Utd, Liverpool, Villa and Chelsea/Arse so we'll be crown ourselves European Champions.

You look at their squad on paper and it's mad that they're not one of the favourites.

But then you watch them domestically and wonder what the fuss is about.

Toni, Klose, Ribery, Schweinsteiger, Van Bommel, Lahm, Lucio, Podolski....if they could get them working properly they'd be immense.

God how I hate those fecking Bayern ****s. An overrated team full of wannabee superstars, snobbish, arrogant and overpaid. Hopefully they will be kicked out next round.

On current CL form though, they have a decent chance of progressing. I hope they get drawn against Liverpool, an equally overated team full of wannabee superstars, snobbish, arrogant and overpaid twits.
