Nice. It's a shame he didn't get the Newcastle/Villa match, just to spice things up for the weekend.

Look out for him for the first derby meeting next season!! If he referee's another game featuring Everton, Moyes and us fans will not be happy one little bit.

Watch him make a hurrrrrendous gaff.

I don’t agree with throwing him into a premier league game after an 8 month suspension TBH. He should be doing Sunday league or something then work his way back up, the dodgy sonofabitch.

Agreed. After his failings, he should be made to work his way back up the ladder from scratch. Lets face it, what we witnessed at GP, he certainly is not Premier League standard.

And someone people feel we just have a go at him just for the derby game. Its wasn’t just that game that he made terrible decisions, he was doing it all season - sending players off for nothing, poor peno shouts etc, I'm sure he had 2 red cards over turned that season.

Who was that young lad that was a joke this year? He quickly was demoated to the Championship/League footy after that Wigan, West Ham game so why not Clattenberg, who was being investigated for making threats, gambling and outright dodgyness.

If the FA have any sense they'll never let this fella ref an Everton game again let alone a derby(of any city in fact)

That is a major problem mate because the FA have no sense. If they had have, we would have played our semi-final on the saturday afternoon leaving the two London clubs to play on sunday.

Exactly, it was stupid they played ours on the sunday. Not only because people wouldnt be at work on the Monday, but Tottenham were playing Newcastle on the same day - at home - so Everton, United AND Newcastle fans were on the same motorway.
