clearing a reply window

If I select 'reply' on a post, so it puts the quote into the reply window, but I then decide not to reply, how do i clear the reply window?

If I go on to reply to someone else, the aborted reply still remains in the reply window and I have to cut it out.

Surprised nobody has mentioned deleting the saved draft yet. Anyway, see the image of the diskette? That's what people used to save files before the cloud, usb drives, zip disks, and very large hard disk drives. Before that were 5.25" floppy disks, a huge improvement on punch cards.

Click the diskette and choose the "sawdust" option. If that doesn't work, ask @orly for help to ACTIVATE your drafts.

This problem had been bugging me for some time.

Not sure if serious...seems the obvious choice(s).
