I used to be proud of the club and its fans ... especially when compared side by side with the absolute trumpets across the park.

Social media and the Internet has taught me, however, that we have our fair share of deluded and entitled idiots too. Maybe not on the same sake scale as the devil club, but we are jot as good and wholesome as I had assumed in my yoof.

Anyway, always had the utmost respect for Evertonians until DK.
Then the patently obvious was ignored by a large swathe and the club saved from itself by some 'drunken knobhead Evertonians' who retain my respect and gratitude to this day.
Those who clapped at images of Jabba on the screen have created a new breed of 'fans'.
Big Bill's ultimate legacy is a divided fanbase built on lies and many missed opportunities.
File under 'a lot of bad bellwhiffs'.
