I’d find it hilarious if they were the only team in history to be awarded a title to stop them crying, yes. I’d take great pleasure in reminding them that they never got to celebrate their first title for 30 years.

It’s not that though mate, in 5/10 years time they will have this as their 19th title, (unfortunately they’ll probably win more by then hope am wrong), no one will be bringing that up anymore, it’ll be forgotten about.

My prediction is they’ll end the season eventually, without playing, and the premier league will have a vote for “special circumstances title, 25 points clear, etc etc, “ you know the drill for special dispensation FC

It might actually be in everyone's favour if they DO get given the title. When they perceive themselves to have been wronged, it usually galvanises them so they'd walk the league next season. If they win it with a huge anti climax then maybe not?

their PL winners medals will be like the World Cup winners medals awarded to players who only just scraped into the squad of 24 and never got near getting a game. I really don't care what they do with this season, I want it voided so we can start with a clean slate and give next season a bash at some legitimacy. This season is tainted whatever happens.

The population over 65 in Australia is 15.7% in the UK it is 18%,I think your conclusion that the density of housing has no effect is wrong ,yes if you stay in then there should be no difference but it is outside the home where it changes and everyone must get out sometime .I feel the social distancing is a measure to help and it is not the be all and end all as they still are not sure how it transfers .
So, we agree on the first point. Your second point doesn't fit with what we're being told here; that social distancing is the biggest factor in the reducing
rate of infection and flattening of the curve.

Less through traffic, Airports effectively closed asap, more space, less people, less people U65, earlier lockdown / social distancing
Australia 25M, 7000 cases, sadly 81 dead.

I agree with most of that, but not all. And none of it explains the difference of 19,000 deaths and 81.

Of course it does.
The UK, had the perfect storm
The UK has different (bigger) numbers of people per sq km
The Uk had/has more people in and out
The UK were slower at social distancing - herd immunity will see us through.
There are still flights landing with not even a quick temp check(?)

I may be wrong but are the houses further apart in Aus even in the bigger cities. Compare that to rows of terraced houses in London Liverpool etc. Seen somewhere that 34% of the deaths have been in the ethnic minorities community. More likely to be poorer living on top of each other with larger families. Prob why the hotspots hav been London and Birmingham where a lot of Muslim families live on top of each other
