How are players going to leave clubs if clubs can't buy in new players?

They won’t be able to join new clubs and “play”. They’d just be able to go there early and train with their new team mates, can’t see why any player would opt to do that.

They would be far more likely to opt to remain where they are temporarily, finish the season then join their new clubs for pre-season with their new teammates.

That, to me, seems legally far more complex with individual contracts than voiding a premier league season due to severe risk to public health.

Public Health will pretty much trump most things.

Why? What difference does it make to them? What if their new club is paying them more? They’d move whether their pre-season was a month long or 6 months long.
