Tiger fans are surprisingly reasonable for ravenous savages. If they see a team that puts out decent effort, they'll set off the seismographs again. Les Miles is the Arsene Wenger of college football and had overstayed his welcome. Orgeron got more out of Entling in their bowl win than Miles had in any of his QBs since maybe Matt Flynn.

Probably about equal. Both USC and Bama were viewed as invincible...or at least that's how they were portrayed.

Granted, I'm extremely biased, but 2003 champions were LSU not USC, and in 2004 Auburn deserved the opportunity to play USC over OU. Losing to Texas in the 2006 Rose Bowl was not entirely surprising. And Alabama has been in the 5 of the recent 8 championships, with 4 titles. So, USC was good, but not Bama good.

Still enjoy watching them lose, and Saban is still the best college football coach I've ever watched.
