It’s like a lost art, but required more than ever.

I suggest we all complain to the Association of Football Match Commentary, as one. They won’t be able to ignore us.

100% there are a bunch of younger people who are very knowledgeable in the game and could give it a crack I’m sure, that being said they’d probably get some orange simpleton from love island to do it

It's not though. The topic, along with one the other day about out fitness just shows what our fanbase is about. Who honestly cares about a commentators opinion ? All that matters are results. We're a pitiful lot at times. Convince me otherwise

I can’t argue with that, but I’ll try.

A commentators job is to commentate, not to moan about what everyone should be doing. It should be positive, and light, and show no favouritism. The main commentator had a commanding voice but was absolutely clueless. Birtles is a stain in the commentary box, much more so than we’ve become become on the pitch.

Look, I was irritated by him. But he was mostly right. Our defence at times were awful. Example being the goal and having a 3 v 1 from our corner. Admittedly that's a Brentford USP.

I just find that on here particularly there is a trend to bemoan every minute detail about everything. We are a once proud club with arguably some of the best fans in the league. We shouldn't have to resort to pettiness - leave that to the RS !!

Was better in the olden days when there was just a commentator who spoke only to describe something that was actually happening.
