I'm currently sat on a plane crossing the Atlantic and since we left the coast of Ireland it's been non stop turbulence. The seatbelt signs have been on for 2 hours. Absolute nightmare. Not getting any better.

Specifically German WW11 planes or other war planes from that period ?

I much prefer a Spitfire or Japanese Zero. Much more dynamic looking x

* got a bit of a soft spot for the Ametican Kittyhawk too.

Best of luck mate. I hate flying. Not on a @Del level of hatred, but I'd rather swim.

Now, I'll sit there with Flightradar24 up on my computer and then tune into the airport tower of choice and sit there and listen to the planes landing and taking off while watching online.

I had a business trip last year where I could have had a straight flight from Houston to Seattle but I found out that if I took the Houston to Denver to Seattle flight, I could fly on the new 787 so I paid the extra $150 out of my own pocket just to do it.

If you were Muslim living in Texas you'd prob be doing a 20 stretch now on some trumped( no pun intended) up terrorism related charges.

Planes are pretty awesome (sounds so American that I hate to use it) like.

....never heard of flightradar24, had a look and it's fascinating. Lots of flights come in from the Atlantic over Liverpool (I suppose following the route of the old sea masters) and it's great that you can hover on the plane image to see where it's come from and it's destination.
