Finally got round to completing red dead 2 the other night, the final quarter of the game was a tedious slog with one of the most underwhelming endings ever. Whoever though that house building nonsense was a good idea...
Overall it was a pretty good experience though, middle part of the game was fun and it’s got the best “open world” by some distance.

I played it but can barely remember it bar the scene where you go into Mexico and that Jose Gonzalez tune plays, which was ace.

Genuine master piece good on naughty dog for pushing the limits of story telling let's be honest this pandemic has been shitehouse and I think in a theoretical post apocalyptic world it would be very s sombre.
Valley of fireflies is the only thing that has come close to this feeling for me
It's very frustrating, mainly the lack of consistency in applying penalties.
Even worse, you get shunted off, and with the reset you lose 7/10 seconds, the offender gets (at the most) a 3 second penalty.
Saying that, I have pretty much jibbed off the daily races (besides the longer race c) and generally only do Nations Cup or Manufacturers now. It's definitely a more polite form of racing.

Fully agree with this. Solid game, didn’t enjoy as much as the first, wanted to finish the game quickly and wasn’t as invested as the first.

It’s just not a bad game. M Even if you want to pick the story apart and over analyse it with the scrutiny no other game would get on its story it’s still high quality. There’s an agenda some people love a good hate-fest.

If I fanboy hard on games then you are the exact other extreme.
Sorry but I can't see how the word "masterpiece" applies to it at all, and "pushing the limits of story telling" just made me laugh out loud!
It's just ridiculous!

The game itself is phenomenal. The story is a bit sketchy at times, but not half as bad as you’re making out.
Anyway, all of the people I’ve spoken to that have actually played the game seem to agree with me.
