I can see why it was suggested but to me it's nothing like Fallout etc.
It's got turn based combat system.
It's fantastic. It's an incredibly deep, turn based combat true RPG. You have a party and design your character etc. It's basically a tabletop DND game in a triple A game.
Hmm... I like the Witcher/Skyrim style tbh. I'll look on to it a bit more..

Nah looking forward to this, looks great and hope it works but can't shake that it'll be too gimmicky with no lasting value.

Its turn-based combat but with fairly open real time exploration outside of it. Big focus on dialogue, story, lore, characters and generally using your intelligence to solve problems. Incredibly challenging at higher difficulties.
Its not Skyrim/Witcher 3 so don't expect it to be anything like those but if you like clever RPGs with a lot of depth in mechanics and lore its a must play.

Also considering pre-ordering Cyberpunk 2077..... Looks smart that like. Just a shame it seems to be all first-person view, doesn't look as if you can change it to third-person?
