There'd be no shame in it though, Playstation 2 was finest era console of console gaming IMO.
Just finished the campaign on COD Advanced Warfare. Really enjoyed it and the new stuff with the exo suits is a nice change. As with all COD campaigns though it was way too short.

I've not played it, but this whole MW stuff has put me off it. If I wanted to play Quake or something, I'd buy Quake. The less realistic it has got, the less I have been drawn to it to be fair.
I also find it funny that it is now being sold as the 'biggest ever franchise' release, where it used to be the biggest ever game release, at each release. Maybe they just aren't shifting the units the used to..... or maybe they are, I dunno.

I think Ghosts last year sold the least out of the last few titles, but it's still easily the biggest selling gaming franchise.
The campaign itself was almost perfect, let down slightly by the fairly abrupt ending, kinda like how MW3 ended.
Agree, it basically came out of nowhere. I was also expecting the slo motion headshot to end the game which never came...

Finally completed Mafia 2 last night. Was really good.
Unfortunately though, Spec Ops: The Line just keeps crashing over and over. I've enjoyed the 20 minutes or so I've played of it though!

It had an incredible amount of utter crap released for it too though, more than any other console I can think of, but that was a net result of its' popularity.

The amount of companies knocking about then as well though, like the company who made Timesplitters, gone bust. One of my favourite games ever that.
