Computer games.

As much as I'm still enjoying Black Flag I kind of wish they'd stop making them.

Need to be every 2-3 years. Used to love them. AC2 remains one of my favourite ever games. But as the mechanics are so similar, you get bored.

Unity (the last) showed that they can't even keep up with the one game a year thing anyway, as it was a bug-riddled mess.

Bought Black Flag when it came out, and in spite of it being regarded as the best since 2, I just couldn't play it as I was so bored of AC. That said, it's been a year and a half or so now and I actually feel like getting into it.

Just got that crusader kings 2 along with about 10 other games for £3 in the latest humble bundle. A couple of the one that came with it look alright as well like heart of iron 3 and Victoria 2, which look similar to CK. All made by the same people Paradox. Haven't installed them yet but will tomorrow.

Have a look at Quill18's stuff on youtube. He is a big Paradox fan, and has done lots of Lets Plays on most of their games, so you can get a good intro to them there. I know he's done some Vic2 and I'm sure he will of done HOI3 as he often talks about waiting for 4 to come out. Another couple guys might be worth checking out are Arumba, Mathas and pos Nothern Lion. The first three are all well versed in the games, and get flown out to Scandinavia when Paradox do their big expos to demo the game to try them out with the devs, do interviews etc, so they are defo the go to guys for those type of titles.

Nice one mate, will have a look at them. I watched a couple of reviews of the games last night and one thing they nearly all said was that the tutorials aren't very helpful for newbies.

CK2 has stolen HUNDREDS of hours of my life, and I don't want them back. Excellent game. I wish I could work out how to install the modified Game of Thrones version though.

Was thinking of getting this for the PS4, are you still enjoying it as much, what's the online racing like?
Had a blast on my mates last night, if you were a fan of the Toca race games then this is essentially where that series should have went.

It's ridiculously good.

I've got it on PS4 and I'm really enjoying it. I haven't played online yet but the career mode is really good. You really need to race properly and learn the tracks to get good times in qualifying and one slip up in a race and you're pretty much done for. It's really customisable too in terms of difficulty, race setup, car setup etc so reckon there is something there for everyone.
