Never had much time on the pitch today but seen him involved in a lovely flick and then continued his run into space inside the box, just a shame no one found him. Also had a good header saved.

I thought he played well. He moved well without the ball and delivered a handful of smart passes - a few off of one touch. I'm not sure I would say he needs to redeem himself - I think he performed well. Neither team was at full speed, mind you.

The last Ajax captain to come over here was Siem De Jong who stank the league out at Newcastle a few years back.

Think you are massively overselling Ajax, who arent the same club they used to be.

Taking nothing at all away from Davy K who I am still currently most excited about seeing in action for us. Really think this fella will be a hero for us, a wonderful footballer for me.
