I've been championing a new Everton manager for some time, as I am fed up with Moyes and his policy of allowing **** players to retain a first team place far beyond their years, draining important resources from the club when they are a liability.

However, I know he is a good manager and if he was to leave Kenwright wouldn't be able to attract / afford a good manager to come in and push us on. We'd end up with somebody horrendous like McCleish, or just as bad somebody like Round or Stubbs.

I do fear for Everton if Moyes were to leave, but any other club in our position would show some ambition and get a good boss in and give them some money.

Sad times.

If it is Moyes I want Kenwright to empty his savings account and send one of the academy players to Paddy Power to put it all on Moyes to join United. The winnings might get us a loanee from League One in the summer.

Looks like Moyes might have been in the know since he's friends with Fergie and is why Moyes said he's unsure about signing a new contract with us. Would feel strange if Moyes did go to UTD, they do need some new players and would be good to see how he is when he's finally got some money to spend but would he end up playing the same way as here with defensive style and negative tactics?

I do like Moyes but would like a new manager here tbh, would like to see a new manager who would get us to play more offensively and less hoofing from the back.....but who?

That's what happens when BK did not force the issue for him to resign his contract if he goes good luck to him , but what a very poor businessman our chairman really is no compensation DM I will sign in Jan, never did what a ride he has taken the club & the fans thanks for for the chairman who stated a five minute chat would secure his services a complete joke really BK now needs to sell & go IMO!

Don't worry, what with all the uncertainly surrounding Moyes for months Kenwright will almost definitely have a top class replacement lined up and transfer budget ironed out.

Expect a successor announced within 24 hours of Moyes' departure.
