He is a professional footballer, an international trying to get to the World Cup.
Do you think he would deliberately play badly for us just to help a club he supports ?

And we were all the better for it in my view. Knowing what our injuries are like though it doesn’t take much before they’re all back in and around the first 11 on a regular basis.

Even yesterday Keane goes from being 5th choice centre back for the season to now being third choice and probably straight back into the 11 if we get another injury or suspension.

I would take him on a loan but can’t see Wolves agreeing to that. Sentiment is dead in football. Understandably they would want a sale for a fee. That would just be repeating mistakes of the past for us given the lads age

Not convinced Holgate is good enough/linked with a move away.
Mina - may as well ignore him with his fitness. We also need a settled defence, and he's counting down in his final year for a move.

So for me, we have 3 centre halfs at the club in Tarkowski, Keane and Godfrey

A loan for Conor Coady would be ideal - he'd start for us.

Injury to Godfrey and now if we want to play a back three we've got Tarkowski, Keane and Holgate and that's it.

We need a centre half on loan.
