Agreed, but a player with modest talent who tries hard, is committed to the club, and thinks about the game is still better than our modest talents who seem in a semi-coma a lot of the time, and have consistently displayed an apparent inability to think at all.
His ability to think his way 2 metres too deep won't be missed. I didn't see any lack of effort from the squad, a lack of balance or ability sure, I'm not convinced they don't care or that coady clapping in the tunnel would get them to care more.

Seems to have worked for Dyche.

Fella chats about hard work and people can't get off their knees for him.
I'm pretty sure Dyches work goes a bit beyond his interviews. I like dyches interviews and I don't mind coadys when he isn't turning out for lad bible, I think dyches performance is woth sticking with and coadys isn't.

In a defensive midfield role? 🤣

He’s gonna be busy covering for that back line!
Saw an article today which states Holgate has been training in this role for a bit.
Wonder if we are finally gonna see him in a midfield role, moving forwards.
Same article, stated that Dyche sees Godfrey as more of a full back and not a CB.

"think his way 2 metres too deep" made me chuckle, mate. Excellent work!!!

I thought he did well before the world cup but someone posted some stats a couple of weeks ago showing that was more 'luck' us not conceding and good saves from Pickford.

One thing is for certain, we need to move on the other 3.

😳
To add to the woe, we'll probably sign Jack Sh!t.
2022, 2023, get ready for the same desperate fight for survival in 2024.

So he's off to Leicester for 7.5 mill with another mill if they get promoted.
The halfwits at our club had the easy option to make some money by flipping him but instead chose the wrong option as normal.
Everton that.
We did not have the 4.5 millions needed to buy him...that must be the only explanation. And seeing what's happening with the transfer market, it is probably a plausible explanation.
