There's a big difference between legitimate concerns over 5G until thorough scientific study, and people saying it's a weapon etc. with absolutely no scientific proof.

There is a blanket ban on social media now. In fact I was reading yesterday that facebook are currently applying a new filter to content for just that, to remove certain news or discussions if they deem it fake news. In this instance it is political based.
I started s thread in current affairs about this but we are entering an age of weaponised information now. People get their news from social media these days and we are now seeing that being restricted .
If it is completely fear mongering then o can understand, much like the 5g story. You saw what happens when that is allowed to spread. But bigger picture here, governments who control the internet so to speak as the Tories are trying to do since Teresa may can blanket ban anything they don't want being posted potentially.

Noticed last week that none of our media outlets had ran the story that Israel was attacked by Gaza (who killed 7) so Israel bombed Gaza for 8 days straight in retaliation.

I wonder if we'll ever discover what in the brain leads us to believe stuff like conspiracies, ghosts, gods etc? It is definitely something, because they all have the same traits, like end-of-the-worlders and religions all bring centred around our destruction and the salvation of only those in the know. I remember reading that atheists display the same brain patterns in believing atheism that religious people display in believing in a god.
I reckon it is just because our intelligence hasn't kept pace with the growth in our brain capacity and we are still stuck with our primal instincts and innate tribalism.
