man-engineered, or rather 'genetically tweaked' to enable 'gain of function'. Occam's razor suggests (to me...but I am a cynic lol), it's been genetically tweaked to cross infect different species. My belief is, and always has been, an adapted (via scientists) virus 'escaped' from the Wuhan lab.
And knowing the propensities of man to design ways to destroy other humans, Occams razor also suggests humans' weaponising of viruses is certain.

Coronaviruses have already proven to be zoonotic along with a lot of other viruses through out history. It is a well documented biologic occurrence.

Name a human-made/human tweaked virus that exists, let alone has escaped a lab and killed people.
*This has not been proven yet for SARS-CoV-2 so you can't claim that.

the whole COVID imbroglio IS a conspiracy...in my opinion of course...and thus it legitimately merits discussion in a conspiracy theory thread

true...but the general evidence in coming more and more to light.

My thinking process on the issue goes somewhere along the following logic lines:

If you find radioactive dirt next to a reactor, your first thought is going to be that it came from the reactor.

No one is going to call that a conspiracy theory. It's just a theory that needs proof.


But if a crazy virus is found walking distance to the largest lab in the world known to study those type of viruses, well, obviously anyone connecting those dots is a conspiracy theorist.
