i'd argue the far-Left woke movement (the current evolution of political-correctness -> identity-politics) has been much more damaging. It's an ugly parody of traditional liberal values, and more than any other movement has distorted mainstream debate to morph into the poisonous polarisation we see today.

Countless examples of this: an obvious one is how the BLM-riots caused far more deaths & destruction than Jan 6th, yet gets none of the bad press, neither are the perps punished in any way comparable to the Jan 6th rioters.

Another is how Pride went from being equal-rights and social-acceptance of other forms of legal sexuality, to demanding support for men competing in womens' sports, and Drag Queens parading naked in front of kids...to the point where it's become political-suicide for a Dem to not support those things, for fear of becoming a victim of labelism (transphobe! etc). Then there's those confusing Pride Flags everywhere. The whole philosophy is visually beginning to look faintly distopian. Like here, and here, and here.

Another is criminality-statistics, and the perps background. Total minefield, made into a minefield by the untouchable pc/ip/woke-movement. It gets to the point where seemingly reasonable people like @catcherintherye deny that any of the Köln/Hamburg mass sexual assaults even happened, as it doesn't fit the narrative they have been assigned.


The Q-movement is a modest reaction to all this. While i'd agree that their political-messaging leans Right, it's generally not that extreme or ugly. The pro-Trump anti-Q (or generally non-Q) movement is more mainstream and sadly has more ugly elements, like actual hateful racism, which of course the woke movement is originally an understandeable, even just, reaction to.

Both movements: the woke and the pro-Trump, have now gone bananas. They're the main players, tho'...their big-player status inspires all kinds of fantastic conspiracy theories.

Qanon is small potato, really.

I think men assaulted women mate.

Men rape women every single day. I just call it out for what it is, a problem of male behaviour, not about what creed or ethnicity you are.

Sorry but that's utter nonsense. I've been to countless Pride events around this country and in other countries even, and not once have I seen drag queens parading naked in front of kids. I've seen this parroted around a lot by the types of conservative idiots who think a child seeing gay people in skimpy clothing is immoral, but have no problem dining out at Hooters.




The polarisation that exists today means both the left and right will blame each other for this. This nonsense culture war is fueled by provocateurs on both sides.
People who will pick out the extreme end of the others argument and try and show it as the majority.

you have already proved the point that anyone with a bit of balance or a different point of view is your enemy, and politicised it too. havent you noticed that society has gone way past the thin end of the wedge with these identity groups? provocateurs on both sides?- politicising everything again. whats wrong with common sense, decency, humour and understanding? youngsters would be better off being educated instead of indoctrinated

The thing with this is as well, and I say this as someone who has been to multiple pride events, that it's not a place for young children. Like a strip club wouldnt be, or whatever.

I don't mean that from the LGBT stuff, but it's an adult event, with lots of drinking etc.

Societies have failed to educate the youth on so many topics, societies built by the previous generations. Even more so - the same youths are now getting even more punished.

Because we're young and recessions, several financial crashes, property prices going up 100fold was defo not enough, that's what us and the next-gen need. Abortions? Nah mate.
Owning properties? Nah mate.
Decent affordable anything? Nah mate.

But it's all because... someone is gay. Right.

I think his point is through mate, that underage girls, dress up in a scantily dressed manner, and dance in a sexualised way and the same level of outrage isnt there.

I think both are wrong. But it's not an LGBT issue is it? It's a- we sexually young people because of inequality issue.

But who indoctrination these young people, and what does that look like for you?

Ans what do you understand common sense, decency, humour and understanding to be? Like surely that is different depending on who you ask?
