OK, if she likes Indian:
1) Buy one packet of tikka powder and one of tandoori powder.
2) Buy a large pot of natural yoghurt.
3) In one bowl mix up one tbsp each of tikka powder, olive oil, yoghurt, lemon juice and garlic. In another bowl mix up tandoori powder with same ingredients apart from garlic.
4) Cut up four chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and stick half in each bowl and leave them in the fridge for a while.
5) Buy large bag of poncey mixed salad leaves (radiccio and all that stuff). Buy large ciabatta roll or small ciabiatta loaf.
6) Preferably grill, but you can also fry, all chicken pieces until done. Keep warm in oven.
7) Artfully fill half of two plates with expensive salad. Decorate with lemon slices and tomato slices, squeeze modest amount of lemon juice on salad. Add mixed chicken to other half of plates. Cut up roll/loaf and serve on a side plate.
8) Follow with icecream/chocolate sauce plan.
Unfortunately, can't get that in the mountains here, suits, but that's a good addition.
