Mildenhall has the 100th Air Refueling Wing, but I'd go to Lakenheath.I said that station because from memory it is now the only base in the UK that has an American flying squadron.

What about Fairford? I see loads of US bombers and spy planes fly over me ...normally when I'm trying to follow the plot of something on the telly ffsI said that station because from memory it is now the only base in the UK that has an American flying squadron.

Yes but Fairford is an active airbase, and I definitely see and hear USAF aircraft taking off and landing throughout the year. What's going on with facts then?!That is where the Air Tattoo is held. See post by ItsOkImapilot, pointed out only Mildenhall and Lakenheath are bases holding USAF aircraft.
Homemade Fudge lads. Simple and easy.
1 Can (14oz) of sweetened condensed milk
3 cups of Chocolate chips
Empty the can in a bowl and mix in the chocolate chips.
Microwave on high for 1 minute.
Stir until everything is mixed together.
Empty the contents into a small baking tray ( 8 x 8 ). Line the baking tray with foil and grease it down.
Chill in the Fridge for 2 or 3 hours.
Done.

no, condensed milk is really thick and sweet. in t'olden days it was used as milk and sugar combined for tea, or to make sweets when mixed with cocoa. Is condended milk what we call Evaportated Milk?

You can have it on buttiesPhew! Could have been a large error!
The USAF keep Fairford in a semi-active state for deployments. I think that is due to the length of the runway and its ability to support their strategic long range bombers. I know they were flying the B2's out of Fairford this summer in support of BALTOPS and I've heard that maybe they are going to re-activate the base completely.
My advice is get some decent ear-defenders.

How are the arterieslolBack when I was young and living in Kirkby, Mum would get tins of that for sweetening. Me and my brothers would tuck into the tin with spoons, slurp!
