A beautiful part of these isles. Quite like the people as well. Always seem to get on with a people whos accent is as ridiculous as ours

Rhyl.

Saw James and the Lightning Seeds there in July. Sunny afternoon into the evening, outdoor concert and cool beer.

In short, one of my best days has been in Rhyl.

The North is beautiful, but the inhabitants can be arses, especially the Hedlu. The South isn't anywhere near as idyllic, but the people are sound.


Anglesey is one of my favourite places. I've spent many a year in Beaumaris, Benllech, Trearddur.

Full of English the South ...

Quite sad whenever I drive through now and haw ratty the town looks.

Actually I love Wales and have never studied Anthropology. Holyhead has major problems though.

Manic Street Preachers their greatest ambassadors.

But voted for Brexit for their eternal shame.

I like the Manic Street Preachers, but Feeder is my favourite band to come out of Wales. The place is not as sectarian as Scotland either. The people are easier to understand as well!

The Welsh are alright by me, although Holyhead is an absolute kip of the highest order.lol Neville Southall is from Wales, so what's there not to like about the place!

Spent a lot of time working in South Wales. Love the people down there. Probably the mining heritage. Very similar attitudes to Geordies.

I'm more familiar with the North around the general area around Colwyn Bay. I've never been to South Wales yet, but i might venture down there next time i'm in the UK.
