I think there will probably be an extra behind closed doors friendly at Finch Farm between the Preston and Roma games. I remember that happening last season.

Well it's okay as it's now just the 1 2 3rd game of the pre-season and we're still playing some utter turd players and no doubt the football will be the same too.

At this rate most of the new lads won't be ready until December.

I seem to remember Dyche did something similar with preseason last year - playing fringe players to get a look at them.

I think the Sporting game ended up being pretty much full-strength, and I imagine Roma will be the same.

Then we played Chelsea start of the season and got beat as they didn't even get out of 2nd gear for if I remember right, ditto Brighton
