Antibiotics for a virus,that's Greece for you.

I was in hospital with Covid here and double jabbed, long story short i was given antibiotics too, very strong ones, which surprised me but I must say I believe they greatly helped in regards to my cough post covid, which was terrible.

My remark was a tongue in cheek reference to the practice in Southern Europe to over prescribe,when copago was brought in here in Spain and people had to start paying on a sliding scale for drugs the amounts people took fell drastically. But in saying that if they prescribe for a potential secondary infection no wonder antibiotic resistance is on the rise.
