Watched the match last night but wasn't online at the time. I thought, after the first half, "here we go with another US/Mexican result..." Thank god they had those 5-hour energy drinks at halftime though :lol:

The Crew came out boss in the second. As a fan of another team, I hate Lenhart.... But I respect his game and would have no problems if he made USMNT rotation.

I will say i think the CCL scheduling is crap. We always have to play teams in mid-season form in Mexico. Push the start date back to April or something. (n)

Toluca wins second leg 3-2. 5-4 on aggregate. Lenhart, the 2 goal scorer in the 1st leg, was red-carded in the 80'.

The Dynamo had the chance to be the first MLS club to win in Mexico last year but mucked it up and ended up tying the match 4-4.

DC is now the first club to win in Mexico although it was a friendly. We beat Santos Laguna 3-2 a couple weeks ago.

Unfortunately, I don't think friendlies "count" for that stupid stigma/statistic. That said, I whole-heartedly congratulate you for defeating a Mexican team in Mexico! It's hard to overcome the reffing down there too *cough* (y)

The Santos fans are class too. Reports are that they applauded DC after the game.
