Good performance from NZ. An observation: NRR victory of 'only' 0.9 and only 2 wickets down. I posit that NRR movement is affected by whether one bats first or second. With only 2 wickets down and 7 overs left, I'd say NZ was capable of getting to 320 in 50 overs (6.4 RPO). Bangladesh scored 245 (4.9RPO). So, in a scenario where we batted first, our NRR would have been +1.5. That's much better than the 0.9 actually realised.
England's dramatic turnaround in NRR was largely a result of their batting first in their last match. South Africa has batted first in both their outings...and they (unsurprisingly) have the best (by some distance) NRR.
How to square this particular circle? Not sure. But wickets down at the close should have some weighting
