I don't think England batted poorly there were just constantly under the pump from a very fired up Henry and Rourke. The pitch seems a bit slow and 2 paced for "Bazball" to come into effect in the 4th innings but it's a small ground and if NZ are rolled early they only have 2 seam bowlers (Southee is being carried along for a testimonial).

A most unlikeable fella but a good cricketer. Horrible away record though. Stats are padded from rank Indian pitches, but I'm sure others would say the same about English seamers. Always thought Jadeja was the better bowler myself.
