You baffle me Ghost. You really do.

Your argument. "Leroy Lita isn't given a chance in the England squad because he doesn't play for a big four club"

Then you go on to say Walcott is over looked? Hang on a minute, doesn't he play for Arsenal?

If you want to criticise the England set up, look elsewhere. Maybe having more Scottish players than English registered to play in the Champions League this year despite England having four teams...
 
I can understand where that may be misconstrued. But I suppose its also the manager baffling people. Why be part of a selection team that agrees to pick an untried kid in the world cup, yet since he has started to score and perform he never gets a mention.

Ok, I concede that I should not mention Walcott in that manner. But other than that he doesn't look beyond the top 4 for players to lead the line. I actually think that we should perhaps look at the pace of Defoe and Bent. They both seem to be similar to Owen in ability.

I'm not trying to confuse anyone, but I just think we are wasting potential by relying on the same old players.

But what do you mean look elsewhere to criticise the England setup?

I meant use other arguments than the boring top four debate (y)

We're lacking upfront at the moment. Theres no doubt about that, but the problem isn't club bias, its simply lack of talent (and to a lesser extent, fitness).
 
I hate England but if they want to qualify then they must play Crouch as he is the only one that would stand a chance of netting from that list Ghost.

Even though he looks like Bambi on ice he nets, simple as.
 

Again, my point isn't who we play tonight because we have no choice. Its the stark issue of having little option because of our selection policy based on "that which is too boring to mention".
 
Theres a bias mate, no doubt. Also because the top four clubs players play in the Champions League they have more exposure. Thats sound but we cant complain at the moment with Lescott, Neville and Johnson being in the set up.

I didnt realise how bad things are with strikers at the moment until I seen that list, its stands people like Vaughan in good stead and Im surprised Victor didnt look at that before commiting to Nigeria.

I still want Croatia to win like.
 
If we lose, it will be a wake up call we need which should make the FA get their finger out and address the foreigner Premier League issue.
 
Because Im scouse and I dont like England. England represents snide, bad snides who think that theyre superior. Like the international redshite mate.

England in tournaments annoy me because of the deluded media, the buck stops with the red tops printing a cut out of Rooney's face or something. They epitomise teddishness.
 

Jeez the cover is $20 at Fado's to watch the match and I think its $25 for PPV. $20 to watch Peter Crouch repeatedly jump over a defenders back and get called for a foul again and again. I'll pass.
