Very little difference here to how the wallets I'm El Salvador work.

If they can't pay their bond repayments there's little stopping them from taking it out of their wallets directly.

I agree, he knows what he is doing. I am only really speaking for crypto, I think BTC and rest of crypto will continue to fall a bit longer yet.

As a long term stocks & shares investor (over 40 years and counting) I get that prices in any asset can fluctuate but at least shares tend to have some basis in reality or can be measured by any number of metrics e.g. CAPE, P/E ratios etc or it can even be plain old expectations that sets the price.

How is crypto valued and priced? If you cant answer these questions then its just speculating/gambling surely? (not expecting an answer more thinking out aloud)
