Crypto currency (IF banned from CA)

There was a temporary Banksy exhibit in town this past weekend. We hadn't made it 20 feet inside the door when some absolute fool was trying to compare what Banksy does to crypto. He was very earnest and true believer-y about it. I hope he ends up in a cardboard box, the bad texan (and bad Texan).

See, I try to keep an open mind, but I'll admit I don't really have a proper idea of how it all works.

I have friends who are heavily into it (including the very smart chap who owns a tech company I go to the game with) yet none of them have been able to properly explain it to an idiot like me.

Now I know NFTs are NOT the same but it's all part of the same space. My match going mate says the majority of NFTs are garbage, but they'll evolve over time and some of them will serve a purpose. (eg: a golf NFT that offers discounted green fees, movie NFTs that offer discounted cinema seats and so on)

Then I see a post like this and I start reading it and I'm thinking

"OK, this is what he means, an airline ticket has a purpose! I'm not sure why they don't just call it a digital airline ticket but hey, if its an NFT so be it!"

Then I get to the part where this fella says 'it becomes a digit asset AFTER you use it.'

He then goes on to claim they'll become collectable as they have an artist attached to them? Who's the artist? The IT guy at BA?

It makes ZERO sense. If anybody wants to explain, go ahead.

BTW, this Gary Vaynerchuck has made over 100m from NFTs, so he's either very smart or the world is full of mugs.

One thing crypto is great at is being a gigantic electromagnet for edgelords. One thing GOT is great at is bullying edgelords.
I'll tell you the best way to bully us.

Short it. You all hate it and are convinced it is going to zero so why don't you short it??

That way you can laugh at us all the way to the bank as it crashes to zero

I wonder why you don't do this...

How many airline tickets are there every day? How many artists are prepared to waste their time making art for millions of airline tickets that MAY make the, $10 in the future?
