If they sold them phones at a profit they would have a massive bank balance which investors love.

A new Crypto currency doesn't really offer me a product or a service it will only make me a profit if more people buy into it causing the price to increase ergo a ponzi scheme.

No you haven't thought it through. My point is simple. The price of apple stock or any stock is mostly driven through speculation. If they sold a trillion phones, but no one bought or sold the stock the price would remain exactly the same.

TSLA is a perfect example, completely over valued, the price is/was so high due to sheer speculation.

A Ponzi needs to have a central entity running the show, so I'll ask again who is the central party in bitcoin that is paying old investors with new people's money? Is it satoshi?

It just a highly volatile asset that people speculate on, simple, it has two functions send and mine, that's it.

Btw I have said in this thread many times how I think bitcoin is rubbish and don't own any.
It's ded simple, you all hate it and are convinced it's a ponzi that will go to zero, short it then!

I've not called BTC a ponzi, that has some logic and I would have loved to invest years back when people i knew done it.
