I’m not so sure. He currently stands to face about 110 years in prison if he gets a maximum sentence on all charges and they are to be served consecutively. A lot will depend on the second trial which may not necessarily go ahead.

I would not be shocked to see him sentenced to concurrent terms which would mean he is out in 20 years. He is young, it wasn’t a violent crime although obviously a horrendous one. White collar crime rarely gets punished as strongly though. Madoff got 150 years but they knew he was unlikely to see any more than 20 given his age so easier for them to throw the book at him.

Again though that depends on the outcome of the potential second trial.

These articles are always so funny because even the 'experts' manage to get it so wrong.

That being said the PoW consensus protocol (this term is important and not used once in the article) is extremely wasteful and will only get worse as the network grows. Pulsechain.com solves this, it is faster, cheaper and more decentralized than BTC or ETh.
