I’ve got a friend who works for a fund who focuses solely on crypto trading, he was saying (although pissed when doing so!) that he was anticipating up to a 40% short term crash ahead of the halving. But who knows where it is in the cycle.

I remember reading months ago that he actually donated pretty much an equal amount to both parties, he was just a lot more public with donating to the democrats.

Makes sense too, being as rich as he was for a while, it made no material difference to his net wealth, and gave him influence and power with both.

Agree that his parents should be charged too. However since they are both Stanford law professors I assume they have created enough legal firewalls/plausible deniability that a prosecution is unlikely to succeed so up to DA as to whether worth persuing.

First time white collar criminals get vastly reduced sentences anyway - even SBF's 25 years is low compared to sentencing guidelines of about 40 years.

Think most of the political donation clawbacks have already happened.
