Isn't there supposedly a "master key" that could unlock all bitcoints but nobody knows where it is?

Is it correct that nobody knows who invented bitcoint? Nakamoto ... only that's not a real person.

So aside from the fact that nobody knows who invented this, or why, and that there might be a master code that steals all your coins one day, it does seem like a great investment. Why invest in real people doing real things in reality when I can gamble in a virtual casino where I don't know the owner or the rules?
