Crypto currency (IF banned from CA)

Over time I just take out what I staked on each crypto, so what’s left in my wallet is profit only. £150 turned into £800 over the course of 2 months, but the market isn’t looking great atm…

Nope ass fell out atm itll be back but its a long term thing innit dont think it will hit lofty heights till next year at least

Yeah I think it will too. I don’t put loads in, just small amounts each time and almost forget about it. Check the markets fairly regularly but don’t worry / panic if they’re down. Yeah agreed, I’m just holding mine long term

I don't know why people still call them currencies when nobody actually uses them for business transactions, or at least legal ones.

It's as much a currency as a lump of gold is and it is traded and speculated on in the exact same way.

This is incorrect...cost and speed make it favourable to alot of companies.

PC hardware prices and supply are heavily affected by crypto miners, too.

Its not hard to imagine some form of government action on it at some point.

A couple of mates decided to try and mine bitcoins a few years back. The electricity bill for running the servers cost them more than the value of the bitcoins they mined.

And they are laughing now......

No mention of the huge amount of renewable energy that BTC miners use. Or compare to the environmental impact traditional banking has. Much worse than mining. And why do people want to focus on that.....how much electricity does the internet consume? Gaming/Entertainment???

Bitcoin sub £10k. Ethereum sub £500. If they did I'd spend quite a bit too be honest.
