Indeed! Especially when you consider that he needed to be lifted onto a stretcher and carried off.

When I was a teenager, I tried to diving header a low cross and the defender cleared my head with a swinging boot rather than the ball.

I was literally told to get off the pitch within a matter of seconds by the referee, as we wanted to take the corner. Get a grip lad...
