Think we will struggle with the game yesterday, I am genuinely at ease with this game, not too bothered what way it goes, yes I would love to win a cup, but its a hugely long shot and I would rather stay in the premier league if I had the choice

I mean, there’s confidence lids but.. thread starter has you kicking off 15 minutes after us, and even we should manage one if that happens..
I was about to say its a 12.30 ko, i was just checking to make sure i was not wrong lol
Whatever way i want the win, if we get it is another thing, i dont buy into this stuff of hoping we lose so we can get more points in the league as it never works that way at all

Tough opponent these days. Given where they are in the PL they’re way off the European places and safe from a relegation fight, so they may have a good go at this as a chance of winning a trophy. I think we’ll need to go as full strength as possible to get past them.

I am probably in the minority here but I hope Lampard uses this as a chance to give some fringe players game time as we may need them all in the run in to keep us safe.

I’d be going with a mix of our best 11, fringe players and those looking to get some match fitness. We do have time off after this game but I’d also be hoping that Frank arranges a behind closed doors friendly for the likes of DCL, Alli, Delph to get minutes

With no Allan/DCL not in form I would like to see DCL used in the Felliani role Moyes used in a 4411.

Think it'll give him room to get on the ball and hold it up to bring the wide players into the game without being in a battle with their grock CB's.

Hope he doesn't play Begovic because of a decent game yesterday as I still have nightmares over that pathetic showing in the QPR penalty shootout

Pickford

Coleman Keane Branthwaite Godfrey

Townie Doucoure Gomes Richarlison
DCL
Rondon

Townsend the only one with a decent set piece / cross on him - have him whipping balls in to the two big lads up top with Richarlison coming in central without the ball to help Doucoure out as Gomes offers zero defensive cover.
