I have, and I can’t remember him being a liability in a consistent way like say, Ashley Young. Patterson has had some dodgy moments in games, but he’s never been a liability

He isn't perfect by any means, yet he is young and will develop over time. Why he isn't given even a chance when Young looks so lacklustre is beyond me.

They're well coached. As @MisterJ said, there aren't many in their team I'd have here if it meant a straight swap with one of our own.
