If Dyche hadn't shot his load last wk, trying to be clever and change tactics ( for no sensible reason whatsoever ) Especially after the Utd showing.
3pts against Fulham and everybody would be made up with a point today...

Still, we're only a point behind Leeds now and we've narrowed the GD to 1 goal aswell so if Leicester can do the job on them on Tuesday and then even a draw against Newcastle we'll either match them or take us above them.
Tho a win against Newcastle and I'll be a happy man ( Especially as we have Leicester following )

His last 2 games were United and Fulham and we got torn to shreds down whatever side he was playing on in both games .

The Southampton and wolves losses stand out more and more as the season goes on. We win one of those games and todays result doesn’t seem too bad

Said the same thing , we have lost to all the teams around us. Even drawing a couple puts those teams back another 2 points .

That wolves goal in the 95th minute or Pickford standing basically holding the post for prowess to hit a fee kick into the middle of the goal is going to be massive in sending us down

DCL clearly adds a missing threat. Either add Ellis or Maupay with him or go 4-2-3-1.
I think a 4-2-3-1 actually fits our players and gives us some depth if playing like that.
Coady needs to replace Keane on the run in.

We need 3 in midfield. It's too easy to get overrun without 3 in todays game.

A good point in itself - an away point almost always is. But poor team selection and in-game management from Dyche, who seems to have lost his a bit after a promising* start.

He's better than the last two obvs and we all know that due to the sins of Omission and Comission from others he has poor cards to play - but how hard is it to do the basics - just follow suit - FullBack for FullBack!
Patterson ( a Scottish International ffs - yes I know) can't get a game and we have to shoehorn in Square pegs in to round holes yet again.
Holgate reached his peak shoving Firmino over the wall and that was years ago.
Only teams playing reasonable well (not us ! ) can carry players playing out of position and then only for so long.

Why play Holgate who has hardly played in his normal position, out of position against one of the in form players in the league? Just wonder what Dyche is doing. We dont seem to have any plan other than boot it long. Feel like its more of a shambles than usual.

I’ve never been so sure about our relegation.

And I’ve been around for quite a few very near misses.

This will be our 4th near miss since 1954. Assuming it is a miss.
