I haven't asked my lad yet whether Pulis stealing the LMA Manager of the Year award and costing him £160 (£20 at 7/1 on Rodgers in mid March) is worth every penny.. Perhaps I'll ask him to write to Tony for a beer - suggesting he tell him how it's possible to be sad AND happy at the same time.

Correct, I can't begin to tell you...

I have the germ of an idea and am working on some new lyrics and could do with some help...

Oh the Crystal Palace tears light up the banners on your wall
The celebration bus is standing stately in the hall
But will the timely crowd that has you laughing loud help you dry your tears
When we buzz off of your Crystal Palace tears

Oh the Crystal Palace tears light up your faces as you bawl
As Captain Steven Gerrard has a slip up with the ball.
And may the League drought that has us laughing loud, last for many years.
When we buzz off of your Crystal Palace tears.

I'm still in shock that Clattenberg didn't give them any penalties........did the envelope not get through....
I am too. I just wonder whether his woeful performance in the Juventus - Benfica game, when his standard was questioned internationally, had the effect of keeping him cautious last night?

He's a careerist and obviously would have had an eye on World Cup matches this summer (getting plum games rather than less glamorous ones). There was two decisions for liverpool penalties he'd have made in his sleep usually, but he waived them away.

Pure awesomeness!!!!!!! Turned off at 2-0 and saw the score after waking up this morning. Enjoy this great day for mankind!

He's not in the ref pool though, so this is kind of a null point?
