Current state of media related to EFC news

Toffeetv are great, the Blue Room are great, the main stream media don’t care about us, we don’t make them money from clicks. We been in free fall for years and get zero coverage, United lose 1 game and the whole world is falling apart. Half the problem with the MSM is it full of RS and when they do talk about Everton they no nothing about us

Doucoure is an integral cog in Everton's midfield.

Sad that Keane is injured he has been brilliant for them this season.

And the best one - Dyche has been really good in setting up Everton defensively this season.

Hey ho, Toffee TV.

Just had a gander there at Baz and "Blainzy" - who is in Florida, apparently.

Is it just me, or do I detect a touch of tension between them? The little giveaways include Baz going on a "joy to the world and peace to all men" spiel that Blainzy then referred to as "your little speech".

Blainzy gives the impression that he's built and run multinationals as a hobby. I quite like his takes now and again, but he gives the impression of having a rather high opinion of himself while deigning to speak to oiks like Baz.

Still, it's watchable. It's when they have these young fellas on that I switch over.

I'm aware the sports media landscape has never been idyllic especially when it pertains to Everton, but now it extremely challenging to find articles that actually merit. Even the newsnow article accumulate is just cluttered with click bait online sites that just concoct flimsy rumors or regurgitate established stories from more reputable publications. Other than the athletic which offers solid content just not enough in my opinion along with bbc , there doesn't seem to be many legitimate football platforms put there anymore which Is unfortunate.
Have you followed The Esk?

Sky used to 'interview' fans before games as they were rolling up to the ground (I don't know if they still do this) and I think it was broadcast live.

I was at West Brom in 2005 with my 14 year old son, they were trying to stay up (and they did - Great Escape?) and we were closing in on finishing 4th. The Sky lizard and his cameraman came up to us (we had Everton shirts on) and when we said OK to the 'interview' this is what happened;

Sky; "Do you think you'll finish above Liverpool?"
Me; "Ask me something about Everton."

He just stood there looking at me like I'd diddled one of his kids so me and my son just walked off laughing and for all I know the tumbleweed is still blowing around that stadium.

They've always been the same.

Edit: Super Kevin Campbell's name was sung repeatedly before that game by the Everton fans (following his transfer to West Brom the previous January) and he came out to acknowledge it even though he wasn't playing that day. He looked absolutely made up that people remembered him for who he was and what he had done for our club.

Big assumption that they're not doing it to wind Everton fans up, as they know those are the current trigger points...
