Sad to hear the news, although expected.
A good keeper in his day. I recall chatting to him during his time at Tranmere. It was when they were almost bankrupt and were training on the public pitches at The Oval in Bebington. Pleasant guy with a happy disposition.

Very sad. I remember him as half a great goalkeeper with David Lawson being the other half.
