Dark theme

Couldn't find a thread about this. Any chance we could get a night mode for the forum? Mainly for the mobile site if possible.

A nightime theme seems to be the done thing these days doesnt it?

It's on a development list for the site, though I've been expecting browsers to incorporate the feature to make it redundant.

Agreed - I've got Night Mode on for my phone and GrandOldTeam.com looks ace for it. Like a place for highbrow conversation

We have a "can't someone else do it" approach to this.

Night modes are easier on the eyes at night, i have my phone set to do that, good call

Thought I'd pass this on incase it's useful to anyone.

For Android (specifically Samsung), if you're phone has dark mode, the native internet app will work for Grand Old Team.

If like me you use the Google Chrome app, follow the instructions on this website https://www.xda-developers.com/google-chrome-android-dark-mode/

it's a bit annoying having to enable and disable it if you want to switch back and forth, but I just thought I'd link anyway.

I use an app called nightshift which does all this, free. Android.
