- He can't tackle.
- He has no positive, forward momentum.
- He is an average passer at best.
None of those points are true.
He is an average (premiership), injury prone footballer. But, he does offer something different to the other average premiership midfielders we have. His passing and vision are very good. If Barry were to get injured tomorrow in the warm up, Gibson would be best replacement.
@TheCountIn the words of John McEnroe... "You cannot be serious !!!!!"
@AndyC
I didn't mention role models or his availability. I just said what you said isn't true:
- He can't tackle.
- He has no positive, forward momentum.
- He is an average passer at best.
If Barry gets injured in the warm up tomorrow, who would you play?
I'd rather Koeman play than Gibson !
And I don't think I'm on my own in my opinion of him either.
I don't think Koeman is registered. What would your option be?
Currently probably Davies for me
Finally, we agree
P.S.
Anybody but Gibson, City would seriously, seriously destroy him.
Haha what have we agreed on?
I'm still saying Gibson + Gana is second choice partnership tomorrow. Then probably Davies > Clev
