It's still a tough physiological game untill you have played league darts you don't know I was playing football fit a a fiddle 6 ft tall 13 .5 stone never come across fat players much - heavy drinkers yes - untill you have not played the game competitive you don't realise how had a game it is - I went on to then play Snooker later in life again a tactical phycological game you need nerves of steel if you are in a team competing!

No I didn't bother when I was younger mate just thought it was a pub game for fat blokes,who drank a lot.

Probably is but it's still a pub game and not a sport,sport is about physical exertion,and I don't see much of that in a pub.
