DATES FOR TV GAMES RELEASED 2024/25

December is a brutal month isn't it. There was talk the Forest game would be moved back but it stays at Sun 29th December. Going to be huge pressure on that as a must win with little recovery time if it's 3-4 losses and then a heavy defeat at Man. City.

Dyche will probably muddle along next 6-7 games picking up the odd win and a few draws but he's going to struggle to survive December with the new owners and first transfer window imminent.

what are the chances of united not making the next europa round? surely it would have made sense to just move it to the sunday in the first instance?
That would make sense, and while they moved that game they could move our away game with Brentford from the following Tuesday to the Wednesday.

With the Man Utd game isn't it more about whether Man Utd finish in the top 8 of that large group as if so they will receive a bye to the next round and avoid playing europe in Feb. So theres a good chance it stays Sat 12.30 anyway?

With Leicester we were told that the Sat 3pm kick off was correct. Thankfully that was the case as we had already booked our trains and doing hospitality for it. The reason for it showing on Monday all the teams and media get sent the same calendar info to download when they get released and that was scheduled as Monday in error so it was appearing on all the fixture lists as Monday but in all the official news articles it was correctly showing Saturday.

I think what annoys people is that they announce a change of date for a game for tv, and still say ko could be changed again between now and United sorting out their European games. When they decide a game is going to be televised they should make sure that when they announce it there is no reason for it to have to be rescheduled again. Not a lot to ask that they allow folks time to book travel for the games.

ah ok, so it's just even more confusing as no one really knows the new rules or format of the competition

just looked, they're not doing all that well. im working that saturday so hoping for a change

either way, if there's a chance it could be moved to sunday, it should just be on the sunday

they won last night and play Rangers at home next so if they win that they are guaranteed to be in top 8 and receive a bye to the last 16 so our game won't have to move. But the problem being that is over a month away and by then all the cheaper train tickets etc will have gone.

The top eight go through to the last 16 round.
From 9th to 24th play off to get into the last 16 round, so if United finish top 8 the game will be played on the Saturday.
They are 7th at the minute but its very tight with about 4 teams a couple of points behind that could over take them.
